"I’ve really appreciated the group calls so far..."
I’ve really appreciated the group calls so far. The conversations feel honest and actually useful, and I’m grateful there’s no awkward sales pitch or fluff—just real people sharing helpful insights.

"Coaching just didn’t feel worth it to me"
I was expecting more from the executive coaching at Chief. The sessions weren’t bad exactly, and the coach was nice enough, but a lot of it felt generic, like it wasn’t really tied to the actual stuff I’m dealing with at work. I kept waiting for more practical advice or some clear next steps, and I just didn’t really get that. For what it costs, I thought it would be a lot more hands on

"Clubhouse was kind of disappointing"
i mean, I really wanted to like Clubhouse, but it just didn’t feel worth the monthly fee to me.

"Signing up was totally fine and pretty..."
Signing up was totally fine and easy, but the onboarding felt a little slow and confusing at times. I ended up reaching out to support twice, and they helped me get through it!!

"Community side wasn’t really there for me"
So... I joined hoping it would feel like a real community with good conversations and people actually connecting, but it felt quiet and a bit closed off. It seemed like most of the engagement was between people who already knew each other. I asked a couple of questions and didn’t get much back, which was disappointing. For what it costs, I expected a lot more interaction and connection. Just wasn’t the right fit for me.

"Decent membership, but I want more value for the cost"
The membership isn’t bad overall. I’ve been to a few good events and made some useful contacts, so there is definitely some value there. That said, for what I’m paying every month, I feel like there needs to be more consistency and a clearer effort to show members what we’re actually getting for the price. I don’t mind paying if the value is there, but I do think they should be more accountable about making the membership feel worthwhile month to month
"Decent event, but I expected a bit more"
I went to one of their events recently, and overall it was alright. The venue/setup was nice and the people were friendly, which I appreciated. That said, the sessions were kind of hit or miss—some were genuinely helpful, while others felt like they dragged and didn’t add much. For what I paid, I was expecting the content to feel a little more polished and consistent. Not a bad experience, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations...

"Heads up: not great on a phone"
Just a warning if you’re planning to use this on your phone — it was frustrating for me. The buttons kept lagging, and I ended up getting lost in the app way faster than I expected. Definitely not the smoothest mobile experience.

"Canceling turned out to be painless"
I had to cancel my plan and was expecting it to be a hassle. I mean, canceling stuff usually is... though to be fair, this was way easier than I thought. Support got back to me quickly, there wasn’t any weird back-and-forth, and everything was taken care of without much fuss

"Good concept, but it felt like too much to keep up with"
I really wanted Chief to work for me because the idea is great, but it ended up feeling like one more thing I had to squeeze into an already packed week. The meetings and group activities took more time than I expected, and I kind of felt like I was the one falling behind because I couldn’t make it fit. For the price, I was hoping it would be easier to work around a busy schedule. It’s not a bad program, it just didn’t feel realistic for me.

"The networking was actually solid for me..."
The networking was actually solid for me. I met some genuinely useful people, and the conversations felt relevant instead of just random, if that makes sense. A few connections did take a while to reply, which was a bit annoying, but overall I’d say it was a good experience.

"Pricing made me second-guess it"
I couldn’t really tell what I’d actually end up paying, and that made me hesitate. I usually trust my gut with stuff like this, and the pricing just didn’t feel clear enough for me to feel comfortable moving forward

"Felt welcome pretty much right away"
I joined Chief because I was looking for people who actually understood some of the stuff I was dealing with at work. I won’t get into the whole backstory, but it had been a lot, and I really needed a space that didn’t feel performative. So far, it’s been really good. The group is welcoming in a natural way, and I never felt like I had to explain myself or prove I should be there. There are people from different backgrounds, the conversations feel real, and there isn’t that weird ego thing you sometimes run into. It’s just been nice to show up and feel like I can be myself.

"Support actually replied fast"
I had a small issue with my order and figured I’d get some copy-paste corporate response, but support got back to me quicker than I expected. It did take one extra message to fully sort out, but the person was helpful and didn’t sound like they were just reading from a script. Decent experience overall. 4 stars.

"Helpful leadership sessions, though a little expensive"
I actually found the career sessions easy to follow and useful overall. Some of it felt a bit basic, so from the tone I kind of assumed it was aimed more at people earlier in their leadership journey. Still, I picked up a few practical ideas that I ended up using at work, so it wasn’t a waste by any means. Just felt a little pricey for what it was.

"I joined thinking it might help..."
I joined thinking it might help me make real career connections or open up some opportunities, but it mostly felt like casual chats and a few events. The people were nice, so I don’t want to sound too harsh, but I didn’t see much actual career impact from it. Also, whenever I emailed with questions, the replies felt super robotic, like no one was really reading what I was asking. Overall, it just wasn’t as useful as I hoped.
"Not quite the mix I was hoping for"
The member diversity seems decent overall, but i was hoping it would feel a bit more varied. Anyway... it’s not bad, just something I think could be better.
